The Homeland Community Foundation, HCF for short, was created by members of the Homeland Association Board of Directors in the spring of 1997. The HCF is a separate entity from the Homeland Association (of which you are likely a dues paying member). The annual dues and maintenance fee collected by the Homeland Association fund only maintenance of our community’s public spaces, not the rejuvenation and/or enhancement of these areas. The HCF, a 501(c) (3) organization, was formed to sponsor improvements to the common areas throughout Homeland. Contributions made to the HCF are tax-deductible as charitable donations.
The Foundation’s mission is to support the community beautification of Homeland’s public park spaces, as envisioned by the Olmsted Brothers’ original plant palette and landscape designs. By adapting to modern-day challenges, we aim to create sustainable and inclusive park spaces that foster a deep connection between the community and Homeland’s beautiful shared spaces. We envision ourselves as the stewards of Homeland's public parks, committed to conserving, restoring, and enhancing the shared and natural beauty of Homeland.
From planting to planning, there’s a place for everyone to make a difference. Your time, talent, or donation can help our green spaces thrive for generations.
